PROGRAM "PERU 2009 IN ST. LOUIS"
In September of 2009 the organization ATLA aims to celebrate the National Heritage Hispanic Month in the St. Louis Missouri region with a special program entitled "Peru 2009 in St. Louis".

This cultural presentation will consist of rhythms and sounds of the Andean folklore, highlighting the Inca Civilization era by the group "Wayanay Inka". Founded On July 4th, 1984 in Lima, Peru, this particular group has achieved an international reputation for being among the finest ambassadors of the Andean music.

The program will also include, dance exhibitions of the Peruvian folklore, video presentations featuring Machu Picchu as one of the wonders of the World, paintings by renowed artists, photographs exhibitions and arts and crafts.
